It was devoted to transport-communication complex of the Eurasian continent, aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between countries of Europe and Asia in the sphere of transport, and at coordination of their transport policies

In January 24 , 2008 in Astana the press conference, devoted to the opening of the classification company Lloyd’s Register Group in Kazakhstan, was held in the Ministry of transport and communications of the RK. The Ambassador of the Great Britain in Kazakhstan Paul Brummel, the general director of the Lloyd’s Register Kazakhstan LLP Chris Renvick, the head of the Committee of transport control Adilet Barmenkulov and the director of the Department of water transport Beryk Uandykov participated at the press conference, which was held under the chairmanship of the Vice-minister of transport and communications of the RK Dulat Kuterbekov.
